Beverley has very kindly allowed me to cross-post this message from Homeschool Australia FAQ. 
The HEASA yahoo group has changed shape and address! This was to allow any HEA members who live, or intend to live in SA soon, to join. Before the group was limited to HEASA committee members only.
It is now called the "South Australian Chapter of the Home Education
Association Inc. of Australia" and the url is
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/SAChapterHEA/ <../../../../SAChapterHEA/>
To join you must be a current member of the HEA Inc, and live or intend to live in South Australia. You will need to include your current HEA membership number and post code when you request to join the group.
The aim of the SA Chapter of HEA is to help the HEA support South
Australian home educating families and to promote home education within South Australia. We have representation on the HEA Inc. Committee. To find out more about the Home Education Association visit www.hea.asn.au <http://hea.asn.au/> .
As a group of HEA members living in South Australia my hope is that we can work together to bring many benefits not only to the HEA membership but also home educators across the state. There are many exciting things happening in the HEA at the moment. The advantage of being part of the HEA is that we can draw on their experience and resources to help organise events and activities.
